Free to worship pt2

John 16:26-27
Then you can make your requests directly to him in relation to this life I’ve revealed to you. I won’t continue making requests of the Father on your behalf. I won’t need to. Because you’ve gone out on a limb, committed yourselves to love and trust in me, believing I came directly from the Father, the Father loves you directly.

God had a one on one relationship with Adam in the beginning. He could call him freely, who would in turn respond. This response was as one speaking face to face today with a loved one whose companionship is treasured. This was no more after the fall. However, times have changed. What was lost was restored. This is what Jesus came to reveal-a place where He is Abba Father. This is for whoever accepts Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and saviour in their hearts, and speaks it forth with the mouth.

We were made priests and kings into God. This means we are in a place of contact with Him. Now that we are not of the Levitical order but of Melchizedek, we have access to the Holy of Holies. This is amazing. I am excited about this. Thank God for His Grace. For we now have boldness into the Holy of Holies. With boldness means without fear. It means we offer these worship sacrifices without fear. We are set right in Jesus’ name.

The veil was torn that day as He hang on the cross. There aren’t any more barriers. We are accepted. We were set up before we knew it. God set us up. He placed in right standing before Him. No wonder we can worship freely. There’s no more condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Glory to God!
